wow...this world...

when i first saw the headlines of the mumbai terror attacks, my heart just dropped. the death toll is now higher than 100, with gunmen killing indiscriminately. it just makes me wonder how someone can become so heartless as to be able to gun down so many people. i can't even imagine hurting one person and yet they are hurting not just their victims, but their victims' families. what drives people to that point? a lot of people immediately point their fingers to religion, specifically islam. and yeah, muslim people have gotten a lot of bad press ever since 2001, but i don't believe you can specifically blame religion. thousands of muslim people would probably never think about doing what the gunmen in india are doing right now. its depressing. i dont even really now what to say about it, its always hard for me to wrap my mind around events that cause so much pain to people. i can't think about it any more, it just makes me want to cry
